It's easy to start today!

Welcome to the MyDietScore Weight Management App. This software has been developed by professional dietitians to help and support you on your weight loss journey. As a MyDietScore user, you’ll be able to register an account and undertake a dietary questionnaire which covers the main areas of food intake which are relevant to weight management. You’ll also receive customised advice which will highlight the main areas for you to focus on in order to lose weight.

To begin your journey, just follow the simple instructions below:

Getting Started and Registering Your Account

The first thing you need to do is register an account. To register your account, just go to the website https://mydietscore.com/login and click on the blue “Signup” link under the Sign in button.
After you’ve entered your name and email address, copy the unique 15-digit token (including dashes) shown here into the relevant field:

Once these details are in, just hit the blue “Create an account” button to set-up your patient account. The first thing that you should do now is click on the MyDietScore icon on the top left hand side of the page, then click on the Profile link and change your password to something you will remember easily.

Entering your Background Information

To begin entering your information, hit the green “Start” button under Background Information. Here you’ll be asked to enter some other background details (e.g. your date of birth, address and occupation), your estimated physical activity level and your body measurements.
Date of Birth: Weight: Height: Waist measurement (approx.): Once you’ve entered these data you’ll be brought to a page where your physical activity and background information are displayed; just hit the green “Begin Assessment” button at the bottom of this page to start your dietary assessment….

Taking Your Dietary Assessment

To begin your dietary assessment, just click on the blue “Start” button on the following Step 2 – Assessment page. You’ll then be presented with fifty questions about various aspects of your diet. It’s important that you answer all of these questions as accurately as possible.
When you’ve completed your dietary assessment, simply click on the green “Submit” button.

Getting your Score and Dietary Advice

This will bring you to your Assessment Score page where you’ll receive your dietary scores, including your overall diet and nutrition (or ‘DaN’) score describing the general “healthiness” of your diet. You’ll also see how your DaN score compares to the average score of other users.

Most importantly, you’ll be shown your own personalised dietary priorities here. These are the specific areas of your current diet that are most important for you to change in order to optimise your weight loss. There’ll also be recipe suggestions provided where you can get great ideas about tasty ways to achieve your nutrition goals.

Checking Your Progress

By clicking the green “View Progress” button at the top of your Assessment Score page, you’ll be able to view graphs showing how your diet score has improved as you’ve implemented the personalised dietary advice received after each assessment.
Your user Dashboard will also allow you to review your current overall diet score, and to re-take your dietary assessment as often as you like.

We recognise that changing your diet can be a challenge, so we’ll be providing you with extra help, encouragement and support as you undertake this journey. We’ll send you practical tips for making these dietary changes as easy as possible at regular intervals along the way. We’ll also send you useful pointers on how to stay motivated as you progress along your journey over the coming weeks.
Finally, we’ll be providing you with interesting articles about the importance of a healthy diet in weight management. These will include information that you can use to get creative in developing your own practical dietary solutions to meet your nutrition goals.
